Subject "Ruby" body "I love ruby" } The pattern used here is builder pattern normally employed to construct complex objects out of different components. Sitting on my desk at work is a copy of trusty the old GoF book. Trong phát triển phần mềm hiện đại, kiến trúc tổng thể của dự án đóng một vai trò quan trọng, đặc biệt với bộ khung (framework) v mẫu thiết kế (design pattern). Last week, I wrote about the Singleton pattern in Ruby much like Rusty Divine did about Java/C#/.NET. He recently posted a look at the Singleton design pattern, with some Java and C# based examples. Over at the CodeSnipers site, Rusty Divine is running a multi part series on design patterns. Take a look at GOF patterns book or Ruby design patterns for reference. Since his second entry was about the Observer pattern, I thought I'd write about its Ruby implementation. Whenever a new programmer asked me about patterns, that was the book I would hand him. The next time, I think I'll hand him Design Patterns in Ruby instead. First, they introduced most of the software engineering world to the idea of design pattern, where each pattern is a prepackaged solution to a common design problem. Recently, I decided to take quick read of the Russ Olsen's Design Patterns in Ruby just in case the book had interesting ways of solving common problems. When I take in consideration my experience with Ruby, OO, Design Patterns (little), programming, etc, I can infer many things that happen in samples of Ruby. You probably realized that I wasn't going to write an entire article of this length and depth without pimping Ruby.
